Who we are

Zetsee is a business name and operating brand of Machine Learning Edge, Inc., a Texas corporation. Machine Learning Edge, Inc. d/b/a Zetsee operates the Zetsee website and provides Zetsee services, and is the entity responsible for this website, the Zetsee services, customer agreements, data processing, privacy requests, security obligations, and billing, fees, refunds and disputes.

We provide margin recovery services to wholesale distributors. Written notices and privacy requests may be sent to us care of our registered agent at JW Hopp & Associates, Inc., 1008 N 5th St. #88, Sanger, TX 76266. You can also reach us at gill@zetsee.com, which is read by a founder, not a queue.

What this policy covers

Two different kinds of information, and it matters which is which.

Site and outreach data is information about you as a business contact: your name, work email, work phone, job title, employer, and how you interact with our site and our messages. We are the controller of that data, and this policy governs it.

Client data is what a distributor gives us under a signed services agreement: ERP extracts, invoice lines, pricing and rebate agreements, and the records needed to reconcile them. We process that data only on the client's instruction and only to perform the engagement. We are a processor, not a controller, and the services agreement and any data processing addendum govern it, not this policy. If you are an employee of a client and want to know how your employer's data is handled, ask your employer; we will support them in answering you.

Site and outreach data: what we collect

• Information you give us. What you type into a form on this site: name, company, email, phone, and whatever you write in a message field. If you book a call, the scheduling record and any notes we take.
• Information from third-party business data providers. We use commercial B2B data providers, including Apollo.io, to identify people at distributors who may have a use for our services. That typically means name, job title, employer, work email, work phone, and publicly available company information. We did not get it from you, and we are telling you so here because you have a right to know.
• Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps.

We do not record or transcribe calls. If that ever changes we will say so here and tell you on the call before any recording starts.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use site and outreach data to respond to your inquiry, to contact you about our services, to schedule and prepare for calls, to keep records of consent and communication, to improve the site, and to meet our legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interest in marketing business services to businesses, on your consent where you gave it, and on the necessity of taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Who we share it with

Service providers who work for us and are contractually restricted to that work: email and calendar (Google Workspace), CRM and outreach (Apollo.io), and hosting (Framer). We share with professional advisors and with authorities where the law requires it, and with a buyer if the business is sold. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and call records: three years from last contact. Outreach records including consent, opt-outs and suppression entries: three years, and opt-out records indefinitely, because keeping them is how we honour them. Site analytics: 13 months. Client data: as the services agreement provides, and deleted or returned on request at the end of the engagement.

Your choices

Stop hearing from us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and we honour it. To be removed from everything, email gill@zetsee.com and say so. We will act within 10 business days and add you to a permanent suppression list so we do not re-import you from a data provider later. If we have called you and you would rather we did not call again, say so and we will record it the same way.

Access, correction, deletion and portability. Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy, or object to our processing. Email gill@zetsee.com. We will verify you are who you say you are, respond within 45 days, and will not treat you worse for asking. If we decline, we will tell you why and how to appeal.

California. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. The categories we collect are identifiers, professional and employment information, commercial information, and internet activity. Sources and purposes are above.

EU and UK. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact gill@zetsee.com for anything further.

Security

Read-only extracts, encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to the people working your engagement, and isolated per-client storage. Details are on our Security page. We are not SOC 2 certified. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as the law requires and as fast as we practically can.

Children, transfers and changes

We use providers who may process data in the United States. This site is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18; we do not knowingly collect their information. If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top and, for material changes, tell people who have given us their email.
